Projects We Do
Student Housing
SLE Global’s premier focus is on self-sufficient student accommodation in Sub-Saharan Africa. In 2018, the basis for student accommodation developments was established by SLE Global in Ghana and Kenya to develop a renowned and premier student community brand in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Since 2018 SLE Global has made partner liaisons in Sub-Saharan Africa with educational organizations and universities, international architectural and engineering firms, construction, water and solar energy specialists, contractors, suppliers, and last but not least, UK, Dutch and Pan-African financial specialists. SLE Global’s current development is SLE Student Accra, a 3,000-student-bed accommodation. Other student accommodation developments are currently in the early development stages.

SLE Leisure Accra – Ghana
Part of SLE Global’s community approach focuses on developing local leisure parks.
Local leisure parks offer the necessary distraction of daily life, support children’s social and physical skills development, are suitable for mind and body, support local community bonding and provide local employment opportunities, especially to the unemployed youth and women in the community.
We have developed a concept for the Sub-Saharan roll-out with Dutch leisure specialist partners.
SLE Produces Accra – Ghana
Dutch Based Veerhuis Bouwsystemen BV has developed a patented innovative building technology using lightweight construction materials to rapidly construct affordable, energy-efficient, modular housing and (cold storage) warehouses. The Veerhuis Building System (VBS) has extensively been developed and engineered so anybody with dedicated basic training can construct a high-quality, durable house with the technology.
SLE is developing a VBS factory in the Greater Accra Region to introduce the Veerhuis Building System to the Ghanaian and West African markets. The factory will produce various building materials in Ghana and offer local employment opportunities, especially to the youth and women in the community.

Student Village Karen Nairobi – Kenya
Student Village Karen is a 4,500-student bed accommodation in the university district Karen of Nairobi, which has been made shovel-ready for investors by Nairobi-based development company Student Factory Ltd. SLE Global is one of the founding fathers of Student Factory Ltd and has underpinned this project with its successful focus on student accommodation developments in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Student Village Karen development has been designed to provide a holistic approach that allows students to thrive in a safe, secure, and affordable environment, providing a complete value chain.
Veerhuis Building Systems Factory – Brazil and Haïti
Veerhuis Building Systems focuses on introducing and expanding the Veerhuis Building System to the Caribbean, Latin America, and Sub-Saharan Africa. This focus resulted in several local partnerships, such as Veerhouse Voda in 2012 and the establishment of several building construction material factories in Haïti and Brasil. These factories, together with an in-house training scheme, have enabled Veerhuis to certify contractors and to ensure the high quality of the system’s construction and finishings. This local approach, the ingenuity, and the construction speed of the system are well-recognized and have resulted in many construction assignments for private, governmental, and church organizations.
